Updated Web Site

I spent a large chunk of today updating this web site to Drupal 4.7. That was a pretty large PITA. The upgrade of the base software went fine, but then I had several modules that I had to replace, and all my songs were gone. Doh! I finally got most of the modules fixed, and then found out that the Mass Mailer doesn't work with Drupal 4.7, which means I'll need to figure out a different way to send my mailing list for awhile. I have some ideas, but it can wait. Anyway, I did get some nice changes done while I was at it.

The new version allows me to easily put content into menus. So I went through each song, and put it into the menu under My Songs. You can see them now. That makes it real easy to switch between songs. Try them all.

Oh, I recorded and posted a new song! Check it out here.

If you're a KC Songwriter, there are several items I've been working on. One is the KC Songwriter Google calendar on the left. If you want to be able to post on this calendar, just let me know. Also, there is the songwriters Google Group Discussion List that you can join. I have also created a Venue data base, but you'll need to create a user on this website to get to that and help with it. Just sign up, and I'll get you access to be able to do that.

That's all I can think of now. Time for bed. :-)

Thanks

Good Morning Mr Jim thanks for all the hard work you are doing on here. I think if this is utilized as much as it should be it will be a great resource for all of us. Lets spread all our talents far and wide. We are such a talented and diverse group and I personally love all of us. If I can I would like to add to the calendar . I can put my shows or anything of interest musically coming up right??? Have a beautiful day !! Paula

You Have calendar access

I invited you to do calendar access. You should have gotten an invitation from my gmail account. If you didn't get it, let me know.

Syndication in the footer

I also put a link in the footer that allows you to get a content feed from here with a news reader, like Google News, or Thunderbird, or any of a dozen other news readers.
